You may find that your $60 rifle needs a bit of work. After you have verified that it is safe to shoot (see safety page) you may want to make a few changes. I can't claim to be much of a gunsmith, but I have successfully glass bedded a Turk and I did a barrel change on an 1893. Please remember that if you want a decent sporter rifle you should probably just buy a nice used Remington or Winchester. It will probably be a lot cheaper in the long run.
